SLS COFFEE BAR
The Society of Swedish Literature in Finland (SLS) is committed to the preservation and distribution of knowledge about Finnish-Swedish culture. Its head office on Ritarikatu Street in Helsinki, which was renovated and redesigned by the KOKO3 architectural office, is also filled with cultural assets: for the winter garden of the cafeteria, the architects selected seven Thonet bentwood chairs model 214. The famous classic chairs harmoniously fit in with the glass enclosed room and invite an exchange about the different cultures. In addition to the cafeteria, the institute houses offices and a historic ballroom.
