Relaxing and escaping everyday stress: that’s possible at the Buchinger Wilhelmi Klinik in Überlingen on Lake Constance. The guest area of the spa clinic, which specialises in fasting cures and integrative medicine, was completely renovated in 2015.  All of the suites were stylishly redesigned with modern furniture, including Thonet’s striking and comfortable lounge chair 808.

The reinterpretation of the wing chair invites users to spend time in it and serves as a cosy place of sanctuary. The view of Lake Constance and the cosy chair present the best conditions for quickly forgetting one’s fast-paced everyday life. The lounge chairs and matching footstools are covered with napa leather in rosé (“Air” colour world) and rest on oiled walnut bases.
