Located at the western beginning of the Europa Allee, the AXIS residential high-rise plays with the ambivalence of urban architecture and individual, scenic living and leisure spaces. For the new building, the Frankfurt based architectural office Meixner Schlüter Wendt combines the vertical element of the high-rise building with traditional Frankfurt building types, such as block perimeter development and town houses.
Visitors and guests who enter the 19-storey residential tower through the main entrance are welcomed by a generous lobby that stretches across two levels. The stylish eye-catchers in the representative lobby area are three lounge chairs 808 by Thonet in grey leather that lend a special value to any waiting time. Instead of the traditional mailbox zone, the architects have created a beautiful place for arriving and pausing. The striking design of the wing chairs forms a visual contrast with the oak panelled lobby and the open design with concierge counter and wide staircase to the park-like atrium.
