SOUTH CAMPUS OF COPENHAGEN UNIVERSITY
The extension building “KUA3” on the south campus of Copenhagen University, which was designed by the Danish Arkitema Architects, houses the law and theological faculties. In numerous places, the modern building establishes an interdisciplinary study environment between urban structures and the informal life of the students. The open, light spaces covered with travertine on the outside, are characterised by plenty of glass and wood inside. The interior design enhances the building’s functionality, designed for teaching, studies and social interaction, aiming to represent a “dynamic around-the-clock study environment”.
