APARTMENT IN AN OLD BUILDING
The interior design consultants of Seipp Wohnen in Waldshut-Tiengen near the Swiss border redesigned a private apartment in an old building with plenty of love for details. With the combination of modern interior design objects, classic living furniture and collector’s items, they created a special atmosphere. The Thonet cantilever chair S 32 by Marcel Bruer, which is among the most famous tubular steel chairs in the world, was chosen for the dining area. The classic from the Thonet portfolio, here in the version without armrests and with dark wood for the backrest and seat, perfectly fits in with the atmosphere of the old building with its reduced form and aesthetic combination of tubular steel, wood, and wicker cane.
