We only use high-quality cowhide from European countries. It is tanned and dyed under strict environmental conditions. Every hide is checked before processing. As with any natural product, minor irregularities and variations can occur. Our napaleather is semi-aniline dyed. Owing to the natural suppleness of cowhide, there is a possibility that some crinkling of the material will occur, regardless of the processing method.

For the S 33, S 34, S 35 and S 533 cantilevers high-quality butt leather, 3.0 to 3.3 mm thick and reinforced with textile material on the underside, is used.
The cowhides come from European cattle. Their varying markings and hair length are a feature of the natural properties of this highquality material. Cowhide has to be combed with a regular horse comb or soft dog brush approx. every three months to prevent matting or loss of hair.
