RESTAURANT PANAMA IN BERLIN
The restaurant and bar concept hidden behind Berlin’s new hip address PANAMA opened its doors in June 2016 and was inspired by Janosch’s children’s book “The Trip to Panama”. The interplay between closeness and distance, locality and exotic regions, are interpreted in an impressive way: these motifs shape the aesthetics of the interior design – Thonet bentwood chairs in light oiled ash create a friendly and warm ambience and the creative basis for kitchen and bar: the PANAMA is dedicated to a contemporary form of German cuisine while integrating aromas from different countries. The restaurant of initiator Ludwig Cramer-Klett located on gallery-lined Potsdamer Straße, occupies two floors in the building and an atrium in a historic factory complex.
