The paediatrician’s office Biberbau in Waldshut-Tiengen in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, not only provides competent specialist consulting for its young patients, but also ensures that children and parents feel good in the doctor’s office with an interior design concept that is appropriate for children. The planners of Seipp Wohnen intentionally chose a joyful colour concept for the interior design. With the division of the waiting area into two separate rooms, the interior design experts also exhibited a special sensibility for the requirements of a paediatrician’s office.

While a cosy place of retreat in calm earth tones was created for babies and their parents, a waiting room in fresh colours receives the toddlers and older patients and invites them to play. Here, the highlights are the Thonet classics S 43 in blue, yellow, red, and green. The cantilever chairs harmoniously complement the thoughtful interior design concept and, with the simple tubular steel frame and moulded plywood seat shell, represent aesthetic reduction.
