RESTAURANT MAREA ALTA IN BARCELONA
Just a few metres from Barcelona’s old harbour and the famous La Rambla promenade, the high-rise Edificio Colón was built on the Avinguda de les Drassanes in 1970. With 28 floors and a height of 110 metres, it was Barcelona’s first building to exceed the 100-metre mark. Today, a unique restaurant and bar is located on floors 23 to 24: the Spanish star chef Enrique Valentí opened the “Marea Alta” in September 2016 and has since been offering a menu featuring extraordinary seafood dishes with French and Japanese influences.
