LAW FIRM EVERS SOERJATIN IN AMSTERDAM

The law firm Evers Soerjatin has its headquarters in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam, near the popular Vondelpark. The generous office and conference spaces of the attorneys are housed in an impressive villa, whose interior was modernised in cooperation with the office Fokkema & Partners Architecten. During the redesign, the architects especially focused on the combination of monumental, existing building details with new elements: Stucco ceilings and mantelpieces were preserved, and elegant lighting solutions, acoustic panels and timeless furniture were added.

For the design of the two representative meeting rooms, the architects decided to use Thonet chairs: conference chairs S 843 with walnut seat shells and high-quality upholstery in light grey nappa leather with cognac coloured seams. The colours harmonise with the colour scheme of shades of white and grey which was especially developed for Evers Soerjatin; combined with high-quality materials, such as wood and leather, they underline the friendly charm of the old villa. Thonet’s range S 840 is characterised by the accentuated constructive separation of the seat shell and frame. Due to this interior design concept, a professional and inviting atmosphere, which perfectly harmonises with the corporate philosophy of Evers Soerjatin in a special way, was created in the law firm.
