FOSBURY & SONS IN BRUSSELS
Modern working worlds with maximum comfort: Fosbury & Sons, a provider of modern serviced offices, chose the Brussels district of Watermael-Boitsfort for the company’s second site. Two tower-like buildings designed by architect Constantin Brodzki are located in the vicinity of the 4,400 hectare Sonian Forest on the southeastern city outskirts. The special characteristic of these striking buildings are the bright facades and numerous oval windows that attract the attention of passers-by with their mirrored and tinted glass surfaces. The interior design of the Fosbury & Sons offices was intentionally oriented towards preserving the old building’s charm and, at the same time, complying with the requirements of modern forms of work. In collaboration with the architectural office Going East from Antwerp, numerous timeless pieces of Thonet seating furniture were selected for the design of conference rooms and open-plan work zones. They decisively contributed to the comfort factor of the professional workspaces.
