Thonet @ Milan Design Week 2022

From 6 to 12 June 2022, Milan was once again transformed into the vibrant capital of the international design scene. Thonet was represented as part of DESIGN VARIATIONS by Mosca Partners in the historic Circolo Filologico with a very special presentation - the CIRCOLO THONET.

On a carousel-like installation, designed by Sebastian Herkner, we staged current products by international designers such as Werner Aisslinger, Sebastian Herkner and Marialaura Rossiello-Irvine next to iconic design classics made of bentwood and tubular steel. For the first time, visitors were able to catch a first preview of the new design by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin (Industrial Facility) on site. The 220 collection will celebrate its official launch at Orgatec this October.
