The luxurious holiday residence Haus Steuermann in the south of the Baltic Sea island of Föhr promises its guests a special experience in a place with a diversified history: the thatched roof house from 1814 has been used by farmers, bakers, seafarers and students over the years. Today, a generous garden with old large-leafed linden trees and wild roses as well as several terraces invite guests to relax outdoors. Inside, a sauna ensures the necessary relaxation. Each of the two wings of the building, east and west, with 92 and 120 square metres respectively, houses a holiday apartment.

The apartments were comprehensively restored by the grotheer architektur office on Föhr. Bright, friendly colours and a minimalist functional interior design style with specially selected design classics characterise the look of the apartments – an ideal environment for the Thonet tubular steel furniture: in the dining area of both units, six cantilever chairs S 34 N by Mart Stam with grey mesh and natural wood armrests are grouped around table S 1070 with a solid wood tabletop designed by Glen Oliver Löw. In one of the bedrooms in the east wing, the desk S 1200 by Randolf Schott together with a chair range S 43 by Mart Stam, both in white, provide a bright, charming place for working.
