FEDERAL HIGH COURT OF JUSTICE 

The Bundesgerichtshof (Federal Supreme Court) in Karlsruhe is the highest court in the Federal Republic of Germany for civil and criminal law. It hears cases against rulings of the state courts and upper state courts. The number of the seats in the large conference hall is limited only by the maximum allowable number of participants.
