Randolf Schott, born 1974 in Torgau, trained as a cabinet maker and studied product design from 2000-2004 at the Angewandte Kunst Schneeberg (department of the Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau).
Afterwards, he worked as an assistant in the office of Delphin Design. From 2006 until 2017 he worked as a designer and project manager in the Thonet product development unit.
